Your WordPress site relies on PHP, typically with a default memory limit of 128MB. For high-res images, remember to raise this limit or uploads may fail!

Need to do the math for memory usage? Here’s the formula:

(( width * height ) * 4) / 1000000 = X MB

Example:

((8334 * 8334) * 4) / 1000000 = 277.82 MB

Always account for additional needs by the plugin and WordPress itself.

Remember, larger images mean longer processing times during uploads, as we watermark and manipulate them!
